Specific Gravity: 1.015 - The wine should be ready to press by later tonight.

 

I called up Above The Rest and secured a wine press. Picked it up shortly after noon with the intention of pressing this evening. It is now all set up in the garage, sitting on a blue tarp and secured to a wooden frame I built a number of years ago (which lifts the spout of the press to about carboy-neck height and greatly simplifies the process of catching the runoff).
